Progress report: the New Bassic Sax

AI generated image of steamroller rolling over a pile of saxophones, 1930s poster style,If you’ve checked the new website in the last week you would have noticed that I have slowly been adding content to both it, and here to the New Bassic Sax Blog. For the most part this content has been downloadable resources and updated articles that were important enough that I felt they still needed to be included.

Over the summer my goals are perhaps a bit lofty:

  1. I am aiming to get the website back up,
  2. ID the salient blog articles.
  3. Begin the process of rebuilding the New Bassic Sax Blog.

Quite frankly I feel a bit like someone took a steamroller and ran it over all the work that we’ve done over the past 20 years. In some ways it is a bit disheartening.

On the other hand, I am embracing this as a chance to revitalize Bassic Sax and make it something that better reflects the work I enjoy doing; makes it more manageable for me; while at the same time keeping the most important parts that were so important to visitors over the many years it was up.

I will be adding features as I go along—as well as topics of course—so come back and check on my progress. My goal is to go from this…
